The champions of scientific incompetence....

Here comes the latest statement of WHO (https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/new-covid-19-variants-giving-xbb116-or-arcturus-a-run-for-its-money/ar-AA1dA6wJ):

“The observed heterogeneity in variant circulation dynamics, as well as the lower rate of morbidity and mortality, can partly be attributed to population immunity resulting from vaccination and prior SARS-CoV-2 infections”.

Finally, they talk about ‘population immunity’ instead of ‘herd immunity’! For those who are feeling confused, population immunity refers to the suboptimal immune pressure highly C-19 vaccinated populations are now collectively placing on the vaccine-induced mechanism preventing viral virulence (and, therefore, severe C-19 disease).
In other words, population immunity does not eliminate the infectivity of the virus like herd immunity does; instead, it puts selective immune pressure on the virus. Selective population-level immune pressure on viral neutralizability triggered the emergence of highly infectious Omicron descendants whereas current immune selection pressure on viral virulence will trigger the emergence of highly virulent Omicron lineages (“HI-VI-CRON”)!
This situation is beyond concerning because the WHO lacks an understanding of the immunological dynamics triggered by its mass vaccination program and therefore recommends new vaccines that – no doubt - will prove totally ineffective.

It will only take the emergence of a new variant with the ability to evade the virulence-inhibiting mechanism currently protecting C-19 vaccinees for people to realize the incredible level of incompetence of this ‘institution’.
