All these years I have felt very iffy about Facebook and LinkedIn. People would tell you you couldn't successfully be a human being without these platforms. Literally. But I just could never take them seriously or trust them. And they all seem a bit addictive. I just have tried to sort my life out on my own, though I do enjoy having a computer and using email very much. But I am now contemplating 'going dark' fully instead of waiting for someone to pull this plug, one way or another. I mean, is any of this good for us, really? It certainly keeps us embroiled and inside. I am seeking an alt email platform if anyone can vouch for one. best for the new year GVB et al.
